can't he just get a fake nut? fill up the sac with an implant? i thought that was kind of standard after testicular cancer.
I was offered a silicone one, as are all patients in the UK. And they're free, paid for by other people's taxes. But here it's generally done in a second op after you've had the cancerous one removed. Which means another trip to hospital, another general anaesthetic...and I thought 'another operation just for that? No thanks.' A lot of patients have the same attitiude. For some reason losing one doesn't bother us as much as we thought it would. Some people think it must be as bad as a mastectomy for a woman, but really it's no worse than losing a shirt button.
A big advantage of having only one is that if you ride bicycles and motorcycles you get whacked in the nuts half as often.
The only advantage of having a fake one that I could think of would be that I could do party tricks by inviting girls to squeeze it with pliers. If any ladies can persuade me that it might get me laid, I'll look into it.
Thanks for tuning in to Doctor Disgusting! Tomorrow: double anal after haemorrhoid stapling.
