thanks. actually, last week the youngstown/warren/boardman area was ranked "second most affordable metro area" in the US. of course, that translates as "don't no mufuckas want to live here."

Talk about damage over a wide area ... it goes ashore in Houston and I've heard many reports of damage in Ohio!

I was watching the weather radar Friday and the eye went exactly over Galveston Bay (and was the same size as the bay). Yet the heaviest band of rain was not the eye-wall but rather a band far to the east in Louisiana. Between Ike and Gustov they're worse off than Houston. But, they can't lose much...

PS. Much is made of the damage in Galveston. But while Galveston is only a few feet about sea level, Boliver Peninsula opposite it is only a few inches up. If they're going to find a bunch of bodies of hold-outs, it will be on Bolivar Peninsula.

There were trees and branches down all over the place in the Pittsburgh area too. We had some of the hardest winds I've ever felt...it was unreal. One of our buildings at work lost power on Sunday night and didn't get it back until last night.

GiGi...you ever heard of Urichsville, Ohio?? I went there in 1996, it was awful, I couldnt wait to come home.
