Burg: when you do these rants, are you usually looking for some honest feedback, or do you just need to vent?
Something...ANYTHING in terms of feedback, agreement, disagreement, divergence, ANY FUCKING THING. What else worthwhile or interesting is being done or posted around here lately? Seriously....
Other than Dino Velvet's industry insider shit-from-mainly-florida, and the always welcome photography based stuff from Holly-Gia-loop-anyone...and Gigi's "Eeek! Snake! Here's Me getting ready for anal sex" photos and posts, nothing REGULARLY gets posted around here anymore worth much....Willie and Bornyo come and go, and Jamesn as well....
Well said, my differently-abled friend. A thoughtful and cogent critique. I feel like I've responded to your periodic self-castigating meltdowns so many times, that I couldn't say anything that I haven't said a dozen times before. Nevertheless, your post brings up several important questions that I can't resist addressing... again. For one thing, having watched this clip [ which seems quite tame when compared to some of the content produced by this board's beloved patriarch ], I wonder what, among the various acts performed, do you consider "unnatural"? Group sex?... anal or oral sex?... DPs? Alfred Kinsey once famously remarked that "the only unnatural sex act is that which you cannot perform". I would tend to agree that any sexual act performed between consenting adults is not only perfectly natural, but perfectly healthy and respectable. But obviously you disagree. Likewise, I wonder how and why you would correlate sex with "losing all moral sense and self control"? Or what would bring you to the conclusion that anything these men are doing bears in any way on their desirability? It seems to me that you're reading quite a bit more into this scene than you should. I, for one, don't think that any of these people were thinking much of anything beyond performing well on camera, and getting paid. Regardless, I don't think you can fault a woman for being attracted to a male performer anymore than she can fault you for being attracted to a female performer. And as to the question of going to a job where they actually "produce or make or do something of consequence", I would ask you to consider for a moment what that consequence is. These people get paid to fuck on film so we can jerk off. They are the chief commodity in an industry that employs thousands of people, and generates billions of dollars. Is what they "produce" of more or less consequence than if they were waitressing at Denny's... or tearing ticket stubs at the cinema... or greeting customers at Walmart? For better or worse, most Americans go to work every day, and come home without a damn thing of any import to show for it. Your beef with these people isn't that they don't produce anything of value [ Athletes and actors don't produce anything of value... but presumably you wouldn't denounce their profession ]. Your beef with these people is that they're whores. And how we as a species [ because this transcends culture ] respond to whores is the central question. I could tell you the answer, but then you wouldn't have the fun of figuring it out yourself.
