You need to hit the Chip Strip. You missed Wingfest by a few days. Other than that, there is nothing to do. Normally we try to get out of Buffalo.

Skip the Jet Boat and hit a few strip clubs on the Canadian side of the Falls. Lundy Lane has two nice ones, Seductions and The Sundowner. Twenty a dance and you'll see some great talent from all over Canada. Met a nice one from Ottawa a while back.

Ottawa is my hometown. My last love worked at a strip club here...

Go visit the NY side of Niagara Falls, not the same but its pretty anyway, other than that I was only there when I was 14 and bored as all fuck.

The American side is a dump. You get 1/2 mile away from the falls, it's a fuckin ghetto. You get away 2 miles and its all chemical factories. The local radio station (103.3) actually has a feature about the Niagara Falls police blotter. You would be amazed how many ghetto mamas get caught stealing underwear from the Dollar Tree. It's just another example of how the local government never plans ahead. Who would have thought the falls would become an attraction?

I live in East Aurora, which is about 30 miles away. I'm not saying don't go there, just be careful if you go. I went there earlier in the year & had a blast. But if you compare the area around the Canadian side & the US side, you would feel absolutely enraged that your tax dollars go support the people that allowed it to happen. Don't forget Love Canal is in this region also. The local government allowed this to happen, and they gave them tax breaks while they did it.

The American side of the Falls is a dump, war zone, no question. There was a piece in the local newspaper a while back about how the local mob family got their hooks into the Federal funding for revitalizing the area. They took it all. Millions squandered and the place looks worse than ever.

Highbrow alert

There are some good restaurants at the wineries in Niagra on the Lake clicky. I'm not sure if the Shaw festival is still on, but there are some excellent plays staged there Clicky .
