You gotta work at it and get the dog used to the water. She will really enjoy it. My dog used to swim at least two hours a day with the 8 mallard ducks we had. They enjoyed his company and the exercise kept him from getting fat. Then hawks moved in and picked off our ducks one by one. Now, we have three nesting pairs of hawks and no ducks and my lab has become a fat-ass who walks out into the weedline and I guess absorbs stink cells from the water.

I'm pretty sure I posted pics of him earlier in this thread. No more pics until I get him down to his fighting weight.
