I brought home a wading pool yesterday for my yellow lab. I haven't seen your Roxie. My lab swims in the pond all the time and has taken on somewhat of a funk that makes him unwelcome in our living quarters. A wading pool/kiddy pool confines him long enough to wash him with a brush and get the undercoat out. He's well trained but no dog sits still when you put a hose to them without some boundaries.
