I can't seem to find the pic of Charin's Cow holding his dog. I thought it was in this thread.
I think it's sweet when washed up alkies give their time in support of the animals. Charin you should take her to dinner at Red Lobster and stoke her on butter-bread before you drop her off at the glue factory.

She is about 17 weeks. Still working on the potty training but she gets it right about half the time. I got her when she was only 6 weeks and she had already been to 2 homes. Some rednecked peckerwood idiots took her from her mother at 4 weeks. She cuddled with me and tried to nurse around my face and neck for a month after I got her. She's still a big lap dog and very affectionate. She's wearing my other dog out when they go out getting her to chase her. They are getting along great so far. B- yep they're called Cheagles. Look'em up on line and look at the images of them. They're cute as hell. Panzer - WTF are you trying to say [as usual  ] I'll try to post a pic of her at about 5 weeks old if I can get one resized.

If you wait long enough, Labs won't be so passe that you will not be embarrassed to get one. Hell for that matter you can get a red lab out of Texas now and be cutting edge. They are bar none the best dog you can have but they need space. I had a dalmation that thought he was a lab- he was truly the best ever but that will never, ever happen again and I highly recommend against them.
People that talk about mutts and shelter dogs....well let's just say they like mutts and shelter dogs.

Depends on the breed. People serious about a certain breed of retriever or hound will take care to mix bloodlines from all over the country to avoid the inbreeding. I've been told Dalmations were ruined by Disney's 101 Dalmations movie. They became really popular and all the Chad's and Buffy's we mentioned in the other thread snatched them up from unscrupulous breeders.
I sent my yellow to a trainer who has several national champions to his credit. He will only train beagles & labs because he says those two breeds have no innate aggression- just a desire to please and a desire for companionship. I'm not aware of any maladies that befall either breed except labs get fat from lying in front of the fireplace. They are born to work.

Pugs are fucked up dogs. A bad breed. They notoriously having breathing/lung problems. They are cute but my main experiences with them involve listening to them wheeze And seeing them get eye infections from their skin folds touching their eyeballs.
Emo the dog is way better.
