olip ADT regular Registered: 08/21/08 Posts: 1	I need to do some test shoots so I can get some experience behind me. I'm a full time photographer that wants to switch into the industry. I'm based in Montreal, can anyone point me to someone I can contact about doing free shoots here? Any other advice?

I wanted to see his portfolio because if the dude's work is any good I'd give him a shot as set photographer. That would let him build his adult resume at no cost to himself (other then his time and fuel to get to the shoot) and I get a free Stills man for taking the risk of trying him out. I got the impression he was already a seasoned photog and just trying to break into adult. He should have a portfolio of his work available online for prospective clients to view. I don't think asking for that was out of line. I can't think of any better way to gain experience in the industry then actually working on a set. Can you? Instead, you suggest he dive in head first and hire girls at his own expense to hone his skills?!?! Whatever.
