The age limit for girls changed in gymnastics, figure skating, and tennis after that wench Jennifer Capriati had all her problems with drugs and shoplifting. Don't punish all those girls because of one bitch! Female athletes mature much quickly than the men. The age use to be about 12 or 13 for the girls. Now for all those three sports, the girls can't compete for world championships and the Olympics until 15 or 16. It should be what it use to be at 12 or 13 years old. If they wait when they are 16, then another chance four years later will make them "too old". Make them be allowed to compete younger, then they have more of a chance to compete and win medals and make some money to help their families. But there's more of an uproar with China because the kids are basically kidnapped from their parents at 3 or 4 years old and they are only allowed to see their parents once a year. And with their one child only policy for the country, parents have their child to only be taken away?? They lifted the one child only policy after the recent earthquake that killed hundreds of children leaving the parents with no children if they are not medically capable anymore to have children.
