Ah yes...

Alan Partridge originally appeared in 'The Day Today' before moving on and having his own chat shows (Radio and TV) 'Knowing Me, Knowing You...With Alan Partridge', and then finally after the disastrous Christmas special we have 'I'm Alan Partridge', the source of the 'Dan!' clip, which details Alan's struggles to get back into television whilst living at the Travel Tavern.

Of course the real talent behind TDT was Chris Morris...just do a YouTube search for Brass Eye and knock yourself out. Here's a little snippet which I believe will be close to most XPTer's hearts: 'Good AIDS vs. Bad AIDS'

Sadly, he doesn't seem to get much TV work anymore after venting his frustrations with then-Channel 4 supremo Michael Grade by inserting a subliminal blink-and-you'll-miss-it frame proclaiming 'Grade Is A Cunt' into one of the episodes.
