No. The hamsters are just pets. I started keeping them when I was living in a rather small apartment and decided I wanted some company. In the lease it said I couldn't get a dog or cat but the landlord was fine with hamsters.

I have 3 of them (1 is about to die unfortunately) and they are terrific and easy to care for urban apartment pets.

They are pretty fragile, I doubt they have any human sexual uses unless you're turned on by making a bloody mess.
