I've called Derek to get girls on productions where the budgeted rates were one or two hundred less then LA Direct's normal (high) asking rate and been refused only to find out from the girl later that she would have jumped at the chance for the gig but was never even asked about it.
(Hint to Derek: This is exactly why the girls give out their direct numbers)

THAT'S why I don't like Derek.



This is why performers sign up to LA Direct - because they know that Derek will look after them moneywise. If they were genuinely unhappy with this situation then they can always leave the agency
