There is more to the girls' rejections than just the HIV risk. Assuming they were coherent, they aren't saying they doubt medical science when they see a clean test and still opt out. I can't help but think that they are thinking about themselves, but in a different way.

Christian often posts on his blog about how lonely he feels; that he is standing alone and defending his decisions. We have an idea how he feels. Judging by the negative flack he gets for being himself, I wonder how the people who stick by him feel, and what kind of flack they take? Apart from that exchange with DL, does Roxy Deville (for example) constantly have to defend her friendship / 'relationship' with Christian? Or Phoenix Marie?

Maybe Penny Flame is just a visible recent public example of someone who got tired of defending Christian's actions when questioned / teased, and took the easy way out.
