Most of the TA's [Truckstops of America] have a reputation for letting lizards prowl their parking lots. The Monroe, Michigan exit off I-75 about a half hour south of Detroit was well known for it's Lot Lizards at the TA and the Wendy's which had a big truck parking lot. You could hear the girls hollering on the CB for 15 miles in either direction. But when Michigan passed the law that allowed vehicles to be impounded by the MHP when involved in virtually ANY crime, MHP used that law to clean out those truckstops, because when the drivers got arrested, they then had to call their dispatchers to tell them that their rig had been impounded by the MHP for use in prostitution.
