Darrah, Because it would be too easy to simply insult the shit out you, verbally slice to you pieces, and leave you even more confounded than you already are. I'm going to give you an exclusive set of tips, to better help you along your way.

1) Above and beyond ALL else... Print articles that you can solidly prove to be true. (After ALL he's been through and overcome in his life and career, your inaccurate statement of Larry closing LFP down was fairly laughable... Actually, it was fucking hysterical.)

2) ALWAYS obtain BOTH sides to EVERY story you write about. BEFORE you pen your thoughts.

3) NEVER use GOSSIP sites as your news source. Sure, they can be your spring board, but to do what you're trying to do, and be taken seriously, you need to do a touch more homework than simply reading a one sided bitch session.

4) Getting into arguments with people MORE established, and MORE entrenched within this industry's upper echelon, is NOT the way to go when seeking acceptance from the masses. (I'm waiting with baited breath, my dear).

Now, to CORRECTLY fill in your obvious blanks... the business is still a VERY strong and highly profitable venture for all those involved, or considering becoming involved. In fact, the ONLY people you'll read about not turning profit in this industry are those who never really turned profit to begin with. (And I'm not talking about sagging DVD sales, so please, don't be a complete dumbass and "assume" that is what I was talking about.)

As with EVERYTHING else presently established and deemed "entertainment worthy", the industry is in a transitional phase. New technologies are transforming the way business is done, and the way people "wish" to obtain their entertainment. The overall playing field is leveling out (more and more every day). It's the fresher ideas and those who are sometimes a bit crazier than the next guy, that'll be the ones that will prosper in Adult 3.0. (Please refer to the song "Video Killed the Radio Star" for a proper analogy.)

For you to come on here and purposely attempt to sway someone from wishing to join the ranks, by detailing falsehoods such as "agent rape" (no that fuck stain Eli don't count - he was actually sniffed out long ago - find a better news source), is quite embarrassing and somewhat "unprofessional" (again to be taken "seriously" please refer to Tip #2 and #3 listed above).

Maybe, in all fairness, you should consider blogging about something else - something you understand and are FULLY knowledgeable of.
