I am really fascinated on how people cannot say "I love you", in many situations and contexts.
...I laugh at the fact that people can say all kinds of other shit without any problem, but to tell a good friend that you "love" him or her is like trying to get a Israeli to say "ALlah Akbar!" in synagogue on Saturday at 6 pm.
I rarely say I love you. I find it incredibly uncharacteristic and out of place to say it, yet my girlfriend has to hear it about 3 times a day. You can't believe how juvenile women can be sometimes. We've actually had arguments because I didn't say I love you back to her, or because I hang up without saying it.
I don't think I've ever told any of my friends "I love you". If I have it's probably because I was seriously impaired or joking around. I honestly don't even think any of my friends want to hear me tell them I love them. Why would they want to?
Even my family would think I'm odd if I started saying I love you. Only my sister and mom say that shit. I remember once my sister called me and after the conversation she said "I love you" and I replied "Okay." and hang up. She called back to complain then took her rant to the folks. For me this was a new extreme. Why on Earth would my own sister want to hear this?
