I'm old school. The library, Lexis Nexis (free for students back then, morgue (newspaper one, not at the coroner's office), interviews, books and mags. If you applied the same methodology to a blog, however, it would come out every quarter!

I guess if I wanted to become a real porn blogger I would have to do the following:
1. Move to San Fernando Valley or very near it;
2. Start hanging out with porn stars at their "chill" places - bars, restaurants, etc;
3. See if I can get invited to a few shoots and run some basic interviews to gain contacts;
4. Develop a few facets or themes I want to cover in my blog;
5. Do a little reading up on the industry c/o available web sites, the local free papers/alternative media;
6. Perhaps interview or chat with alt media types who cover entertainment in LA - for tips;
7. Avoid alienating potential sources.
