I'm no attorney, but I believe that the general legal definition in the USA and Canada of incest is, specifically, "sexual intercourse" between two relatives, including steps. Other statutes include more specific and less explicit acts, varying by state, county and/or community. This has created an atmosphere in which this form of freedom of speech gets aired in print via text and cartoons, where First Amendment rights are more easily defended. Fantasy-based storylines via photographs and video are generally taboo, if not necessarily specifically illegal. The incest publications I have seen, usually produced in cheap digest formats, are truly disgusting. They're as bad as scat, if not worse, as hard as that may be to believe.
