Tri...I have read what he has said during the primary it is the Democratic platform that was updated and approved last week I have not read yet......and I for one and not a believer that the answer to American Schools across the board is found in Washington


Ivor......NCLB is more bad than good....that much I agree but with but we can also agree that something needed to be done......i just disagree that the directive and/or sanctions/judgment needs to come from Washington....

hell depending on the school NCLB doesn't mean shit....Evanston H.S in IL made it to the NCLB "school in need of improvement" and what effect other than bad press does that have on them.....none...why cause they didn't receive any of the federal funds......so the threat or possibility of losing them meant nothing.......the school district still will have people attempting to ditch their Chicago address to gain an Evanston one...

but that is whole different story
