There was one idiot on another forum who always threatened to kill me publicly for everyone to see and I told him to stop doing what he was doing. Not because I was offended because I've dealt with worse. But even though he's a vile piece of trash, I didn't want him getting in trouble and having someone else reporting him to the police. I saw on the news how this one guy who would threaten preps on the Jesse McCartney board at Imdb got a visit from the police. He's now still in prison because they found guns in his home. No one would have known if he wasn't threatening people so publicly to begin with.
