Ferrara told AVN he has received several calls from agents and performers who showed up at locations where they thought Ferrara had booked them for scenes...only to find nobody there. The impostor is putting on a phony French accent to sound like him, Ferrara said. Friends immediately detected the ruse and alerted the real Manuel. "That idiot called people who know me very well pretending to be me, and also people that don't know me," Ferrara said. "The people who know me very well called me right away to tell me that he was trying to book them." Ferrara wants anyone who receives a call from the impostor to e-mail him at manuelferrara@gmail.com.

Any way that you look at it........sounds like a brilliantly orchestrated free publicity plan to me…..and to me just another reason to hate the French…..

I think the impostor might be at it again...last night(sat 1/24) I received a call from "manuel"...he said a male talent didnt show up, and needed a replacement and asked if i was interested....he said that there were several girls with him at the venetian, such as kelly wells, amber rayne, victoria sinn, alana evans, angel long(thought she retired?), and a few others.
He then proceeded to ask if I knew other male talent in the area, and later asked about more female talent...which was kind of a red flag, because there was supposedly 10+ girls already there. He called from a blocked number, we agreed on a time that Id be there, and he was supposed to call me back so we could meet downstairs before going up to the room...never got that 2nd phone call.
It was kind of funny...at the end of the phone call he said..."dont jerk off before you get here" WTF? Why would anyone jerk off right before a scene?

Here's the problem(s), Bravo. The same weirdo got my contact info from pornstarperformance... he posed as Mick Blue with a ridiculous accent trying to "book me" for an orgy over the weekend of avn--with a 7:30 am call time (!!!???) He called me from a blocked number and told me he didn't have a phone number to give me. When I asked who the other talent in the orgy was, he must have listed at least 20 names, including Manuel Ferrara...
