Fuck! Beat me to it. I've been waiting for this to be made since the late 80's.

It is the only graphic novel to ever win a Hugo Award and Time Magazine listed it in it's "100 Best English Novels from 1923 to Present".
The characters are original and the story is incredible.
Now I have to wait until March 2009 to see if they do it justice.
