I wouldn't call anyone who is anorexic weak, nor would I say it's as simple as being jealous of others. An eating disorder is representative of much deeper issues, and is an actual psychological disorder. Those who focus so keenly on their appearance are often trying to fix on the outside what is wrong on the inside. I had a good friend in Jr. High who was anorexic, and it was truly heartbreaking to see someone so emaciated constantly declaring herself fat and needing to lose "just 5 more pounds". It's really sad.
