Depends on who is doing the disputing. He never had much of a reputation of being interested in the oil business - that's a family thing, and he was more-or-less a figurehead trotted out as ambassador to impress guests. If Hicks hadn't made a ridiculous offer for the Texas Rangers Bush might still be a baseball executive (the whole family is baseball people; Bush’s mom still scorecards & stats games).
