I saw the movie. Although some stuff was compelling, there was a bunch of out of context sound bites.
It was well done propaganda, I'll say that.
Some of the pictures were extremely gruesome, and it gave another image of war that i hadn't seen on the news.
I thought it extremely interesting how those soldiers cope with the stuff they must do. I applaude their bravery, and I sympathize with what it must do to them to kill another person. No matter what your politics, killing must have an affect on your emotional makeup. In fact, a soldier said very much the same thing in the movie.
More than that, though, I sympathize with the innocents caught in the middle. Losing small children in that war must be absolutely devastating.
Bush does have many things to answer for with regards to his business dealings with the Saudi's and the bin Ladens. These facts are not in dispute.
I did think the incessant ridicule of Bush by using out of context sound bites was over the top and transparent.
BTW, Saddam was funny yesterday in court. He actually took a minor amount of command over the court room, at least regarding the personalities present. He is an arrogant cock suck, that's for sure.
