You have to keep the options open and grow with music. I grew up the only white kind among blacks and mexicans. I listened to metal, zepplin and some punk as a kid. But my friends all had Grandmaster Flash, Run DMC and LL Cool J. My sisters listened to top 40 and classic rock and my mom loved dance music. I'm thankful for it now because I learned to appreciate a lot of cool stuff.

Now it's hard to find anything that stimulates me like that music did. Are these kids really going to look back at Beyonce and Maroon 5 and think they grew up with great music?
