All she got for her implants was $550? Where are her fanbois when she needs them?
Again, this just goes to prove what I have always said about using sites like ADT and the like as market barometers...it's full of people posting 'Oh my God! You should totally put out a movie where (Star X) does (Act X), I would so totally buy it!', and when said movie gets made, said posters will then download it off of some filesharing site.
The amount of fans kissing your ass and pledging their undying devotion to you on some message board is irrelevant...it's the amount of people prepared to put down cold hard cash and actually buy your product that counts. When it comes time for these fanbois to put up or shut up, then you more often than not get a chorus of crickets.
As I would continually tell tritone when he would bitch about the type of interracial porn that gets made and who is/isn't in it..."Those who pay will get to have their say, those who don't, won't"
I would truly like to see a company like AEBN spill their guts as to which specific performers rake in the most money for them, as I believe it might be quite different from the ADT fanboi-perceived notion of the pecking order.
The quandary for producers now is what benefit is a girl's popularity to them? Teagan is arguably one of the most popular girls in the biz, but I would venture that such popularity also poses an inherent risk that whatever movies she shoots will be ripped and fileshared with far greater enthusiasm simply because of the greater potential kudos involved: "Hey guys! Here's the new Teagan movie. Everyone say thanks, say I'm the man and generally blow smoke up my ass like I'm some big shot and not some socially inept little fucktard shut-in."
Again, it's bizarro world ADT logic...features suck, yet all the really big companies seem to specialise in features which can be cut down to softcore and so-called 'couples' porn...is it perhaps because these markets actually *gasp!* pay for their product? As such, the patently more 'unpopular' product is the more successful. Go figure.
If I were the head of some hardcore gonzo outfit and Aria Giovanni or Jana Cova walked in and said they wanted to start doing hardcore b/g, anal, dp, the works, on an exclusive contract basis, I probably wouldn't take the deal.
In a world without piracy, such a deal would make you more money than God, but this is not a world without piracy. The reality of the situation is that said movie would be available for free in less than 48 hrs of it streeting, and seeing as you can't do softcore gonzo, you have precious little else in the way of alternative revenue streams. It's almost as if the popularity of the talent involved is actually now something of a liability.
I'm sure Teagan has (literally) millions of fans all over the world, but it would seem the number of paying fans is a lot less. The moral of the story is that if you can't download her implants off of bittorrent for free, then they ain't interested, unfortunately.
