I just got a message on myspace from some dumb-ass 24 year old guy who said: "Hey you're one sexy cougar. You should be my sugar momma!" When I argued that I was hardly a cougar yet, he responded: "Isn't 30 a cougar?"

First of all, I'm not 30 yet. Yes I know I'm 29, and I may be desperately hanging onto the last few months of my 20s with all I've got, but can you honestly call one a cougar at my age? I know in porn years, if I was a model, I would be considered over the hill. But in "real life", do I really deserve such a title? When I look in the mirror I don't see an older woman looking back at me. I know we see ourselves differently than others see us, so am I just kidding myself when I find that I'm offended by such a remark?
