I screwed up and voted Mississippi but the real answer should be Florida - hands down.

Top Five States to Hate:
** Florida - political ineptitude
** Mississippi - bottom o' the barrel in most every social indicator - and proud of it. Texas is close, but I live there. Can't soil my own nest.
** New Hampshire - very independent until their ass gets handed to them by a recession and they cry about being ignored.
** Alabama and West Virginia - or any place in between - where Deliverance could have been shot without much of a hassle.
