Health insurance is big issue- just look at the last election. Everyone politician talks about covering everyone at low cost, but never does anything once in office.
However, $134/month sounds awful low. Does it cover office visits, with copay, or just major med?
The idea of a union would be good. It could offer health coverage (at group rates)and possibly retirement plans (that is if anyone thinks that far ahead). Of course other counties offer health care, but I believe there is a "sex workers" union in the Netherlands. Too bad it would never be considered here- dumbass Americans.
