Quote: Gia,AIM is required to report all STD's to the county health department just like any other doctor regardless of how the test was paid for. Also, insurance companies check prescription records. If you've recieved multiple prescriptions for gonn/chlam or other illnesses that may raise some red flags.
I know of Dr.'s in Florida that check police/court records before taking on new patients.......the thought behind this is they will refuse to take them on if they have shown that they have had previous lawsuits against other Dr.'s for malpractice and the other alternate reason is for new patients wanting DEA scheduled controlled substance prescriptions without any prior medical records or history. This of course is naturally to deter anyone from going there trying to secure medication that the final destination is only for recreational pharmaceutical consumption and/or black market prescription drug sales.
