i got a jury summons in may and got out of it because i don't have anyone to watch my kids. my mother-in-law gets summoned every so often and just makes sure she doesn't get selected by acting crazy and saying things like, "if the cops arrested him, he's guilty! the cops are never wrong! just look at that guy! you can just tell he did it!", etc.
