First, think back to the line from Shawshank redemption: "How often do you really notice a man's shoes?" Same goes for whores, unless you are another whore. I mean, I only notice a whores shoes if she isnt wearing any, then it's 100 bucks-Hello Yellow Cab-Next....

That being said, what did she really buy when she bought the 1500 dollar shoes? A pair of Shoes? Or the opportunity to TELL people that she bought 1500 Dollar Shoes? There is some esoteric Economic principle here about the psychology of the Economy and how money actually works, I wont bother to expound on that, but I am anxiously awaiting the entry in CX3's blog titled "Demi's Shoes Stolen by <Take your pick, another drugged out whore, Lockwood, someone who overheard the bimbo blabbing about her shoes at said dinner, etc>...."
