The only thing that anyone can truly claim, without argument, is their own to do with what they wish, is their life, soul, and living flesh. I say more power to them.

I can think of several valid reasons to self terminate: terminal illness, in service of the greater good, etc.

But if someone wants to off themselves for the idiotic reason that they're feeling a little down then I see it as an improvement in the species overall. Darwin at work, so to speak. Maybe if enough did it before procreating, depression due to genetic factors would cease to be an issue with the human race.

This judeo-christian belief that human life is sacred and should be preserved at all costs is a little hard to get on board with when were at 6.6 billion and growing exponentially.
