I am sure it is probably a combination of both or maybe just the amazement that in this day in age someone can so I guess be blatant in their refusal to work with someone of a different sex. I think that happens in any other field but porn where someone can say I won't work with you because you are black. Other people, contractors, companies etc tend to find another reason to mask the truth.
