Obama is not about raising taxes just ending the Bush Tax Cuts for the wealthy that were SUPPOSED to end anyway and have done NOTHING to help the economy as they were supposed to. Obama wants to cut taxes altogether on the elderly making under a certain amount. His economic plan is better for the Middle Class and he hasn't hitched his policy on such a loser as Phil Gramm
