Notwithstanding the Max trial…Tampa (Hillsborough County), Florida in general is pretty fucking strange….They have Guavaween and Gasparilla and except for the events organized and designed specifically for CHILDREN…..The events are pretty ADULT oriented….if ya get my drift. They supposedly have more strip clubs per square mile of the city proper then any other area of the country….and some more legendary ones (Mons Venus) as well. But I can’t help to think that this is all part of the ramping up on ADULT ESTABLISHMENTS within the Tampa area pre to Super Bowl XLIII. This has happened before during Super Bowl XXXV in 2001. This is when the 6-foot rule went into effect barring strip club patrons from having lap dances. It has also happened in Jacksonville before Super Bowl XXXIX in 2005. So I blame the NFL!
