Hard Rock Casino Has Deal with Tera Patrick

http://adultfyi.com/read.php?ID=28467----------- Richard Abowitz writes on www.vegasblog.latimes.com : This morning I spoke to a publicist for the Hard Rock and have confirmed that the rumors are true: The casino will be going into business with adult film star Tera Patrick in a big way. Other resorts have had Patrick appear as a hostess at their tenant nightclubs. And 40 Deuce at Mandalay Bay had her as a guest burlesque dancer. But the Hard Rock will be bringing her into the real money by opening Tera Patrick's Gaming Pit on the main floor of the casino. The dealers will be called Hell's Belles. The Hard Rock is trying to put together more specific information for me, but the person I spoke to, who has seen the layout, estimated that this will include about 10 gaming tables. If so, that would be a substantial part of the casino floor at the Hard Rock. The area is apparently curtained off now but may be open as early as Friday. I have also reached out to Tera Patrick and her partner Evan Seinfeld for an interview.

It looks like Vegas may be the last refuge and stronghold for the defence of porn in the US ("Balls' Deep", if you will).
I also noticed that Rio Hotel/Casino this week announced that they would be opening up a new pool "sponsored by Sapphire strip club", with associated skimpily-dressed cocktail waitresses.
Well if it does well at its Vegas location it may just go to all of its outlets...Since the Seminole Indian Tribe of Florida owns the Hard Rock Cafe chain it wont be too hard for them to get these types of shows at the Hollywood and Tampa locations.

I went to the Vegas Hard Rock Cafe in January and signed up to get a rewards card and they said that the card was good for all Hard Rock Cafes around the world - but it could not be used at the Casino next door as they were assholes and "they are not connected to us".
I believe the casino portion is franchized out....

The concept is good marketing for the hard rock, the actual choice of whore is not. They should have picked a more current active vibrant porn chick, like ava rose. but the hard rock has always been shifty...and their pens suck ass

I was thinking the opposite. It seems like a waste of money imo, but I don't know shit about marketing so I'm probably wrong. I mean, unless Tera Patrick herself, or any decent looking pornwhore for that matter, is standing naked at my table dealing me my cards why should I give a fuck what the theme of the black jack/carib stud/etc. table is? If there isn't any t&a involved on the cards or felt etc. I wouldn't play at those tables over any other tables in the casino.
Caesars Palace has the Pussycat Dolls casino pit and its packed whenever its open, so the concept of men playing $25 blackjack with shitty rules with half naked female dealers isn't anything new.

The Rio just opened a swimming pool with the Saphire's strip club girls serving drinks topless.
Planet Hollywood also has a blackjack pit with dealers in bustiers surrounded by go go dancers.
Ceasars Palace has had a bar with naked dancers (behind translucent screens) for years.
There are likely other examples too. The only thing that makes this unusual is that there was a pornwhore with enough name recognition to make it worthwhile that they go after a personal brand endorsement (except the one below).

On any given Friday or Saturday night there are at least 1000 better looking women at the Hard Rock Casino than Tara Patrick. Not to mention their blackjack rules suck ass anyway. That's not sour grapes I played there once and came out $270 ahead but even casinos on the strip have more player friendly blackjack rules than the Hard Rock.

4 years ago a couple friends I have in the Corporate towers managing the casinos like the Rio and Monte Carlo were discussing how the casinos were trying to keep customers (like me) from going off site to strip clubs during primetime drinking and gambling hours. Opening strip clubs on premises were discussed. These moves are latest steps to when that will be a reality. The Hard Rock is SICK of seeing its best customers/guests prance across the street to Club paradise...FYI last time i was there, I thought I was in CHUB Paradise. It seemed four out five girls were on the thick side. I felt I should brought Doritos instead of $100s

It's been a couple of years since I was there so these my have changed by now and my memory is a little fuzzy. IIRC they won't let you double down on anything other than a 10 or 11 and they might not have let you double down after splitting. I also think that their payoff on a blackjack was 6:5 instead of the normal 3:2. Dealers also hit on soft 17s though IIRC that has become standard operating procedure in Vegas. I just remember not being able to play a number of hands the way I would have wanted and had been able to do in other casinos.

Burg don’t you think that the GCB/NGC and LVMPD would have a small problem with the CASINOS entering into that fray?
It took casino in-house security a long time to weed out the roving hookers on the main gaming floors...and I don’t know how the corporate suits would try to integrate somewhat of a virtual brothel mentality...still trying to somewhat lure in or become more "family friendly"...or was that idea killed awhile back in Vegas?
If they all (the legal casinos) would have vested interest in the also legal brothels within the state...then they could shuttle their high rollers/whales to and from whatever they felt like being frisky.
Naturally to stay competitive they will always try and one up one another….hell there is now a Hooters Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas….showgirls will NEVER go out of style in Vegas…..It’s just how they want to present, package and market them to the general public at large.
Don’t forget the sheep mentality as well....what is hot for a while will die down to its core customers...while the next flavor of the month comes along.....they just like PW's don’t they seem to have a long shelf life as well....so the demolition team will be their in another 30-40 years and they will put up another Wynn Mega Casino-Hotel.

and to think that I thought that Sheriff Douglas C. Gillespie tighened up on that shit around downtown.
