Courtney Love: Kurt Cobain's ashes were stolen Monday, June 2nd 2008, 4:55 PM
Grunge legend Kurt Cobain's ashes were allegedly stolen from widow Courtney Love's house.
Suspecting a former friend as the culprit, Love went on to say she is devastated by this heinous crime.
"I can't believe anyone would take Kurt's ashes from me," she told Britain's News of the World newspaper. "I find it disgusting and right now I'm suicidal. If I don't get them back I don't know what I'll do."
The Nirvana frontman shocked the world when he committed suicide in 1994. His ashes were then scattered at a Buddhist Temple in New York and in the Wishkah River in Washington state.
But Love kept some of the ashes and hid them away.
"They were all I had left of him," Love said. "Who has their husband's ashes stolen?"
