It's not a sport if it doesn't have a defense as well as an offense.
Bowling, golf, skeet shooting, rowing, fishing, etc., are all just competitions. If you can't jump in an fuck up your opponent's strategy with a good defense, then you're only playing a game of oneupmanship and that's not very sporting.

That said, it's only gay if your team colors are pink and chartreuse.
