i just don't know yet. now that i've lived here for 3 yrs, it's hard to backtrack and think. avoid universal city and all those fat american tourist traps you can see anywhere usa.

best sight seeing for hot chicks and gelatto is cafe primo. it's in the posh, trendy strip near the sunset strip called sunset plaza. it's indoor/outdoor and has the best coffee and gelatto ever. and the chicks are amazing.

where are u staying? that will help a lot.

oh, for healthy mexican fast food on the cheap, you must go to a poquito mas. amazing. and there's one nearly across from cafe primo.

hit up h+m in the beverly center for cheap mens' clothes. hit up any of the buffalo exchanges for stylish used clothes.

be verrrry l.a. and hit up a pink berry. 50 calorie yogurt with fresh fruit toppings. see all the l.a. douches and their dogs abound. despite the douche factor, it's very tasty.

hit up thai restaurants in thai town- that's hollywood blvd way east of all the walk of stars, etc.

amazing mens' clothes shopping on la brea between melrose and 3rd. many cool indie/skate brands and cool wall murals as you walk by. there's a decent kosher pizza place there with no name on it, and a hassidic man took my order and yelled at me when i took too long. weird. jewish guys are usually hot for me. liberation yoga has cheap yoga classes, esp their sunday night at 7pm outdoor yoga.

walk down fairfax. cool skate shops/record shops and home to Canters. fuck jerry's deli. this place kicks ass. 24/7 jewish denny's, basically with great saurkraut.

drink across the street at the dime. great pizza and every international beer ever next door at dominico's or something with a d and also great food at that sci-fi looking cafe with the green day-glo furniture.

real men don't shop melrose avenue, but it's a nice walk if you wanna see hot chicks. stop by platinumx motorsports to see where tmfr gets them spinners and dubs. holla!

sushi...pretty much anywhere that doesn't look abyssmal is good. if you want hip atmosphere and pricey drinks, do katsuya or geisha house on hollywood blvd.

hollywood blvd is a mess. you will get an std just walking down the street. the l ron hubbard santa village at christmas is comedy gold, however. great stripper stores. you're more likely to spot porn stars shopping for scene clothes at bizzy b or playmates than psk.

the paps (paparazzi) stalk robertson. it's the street between w hollywood and bev hills where you always see paris, lindsey, and that crazy phoebe price lady shopping in kitson. food at the ivy is overrated, and you're more likely for a celeb sighting eating sensibly priced organic chicken at the newsroom across the street. bonus pts for the skinny, homeless guy in the drum major suit on roller skates.

head way east and visit areas like los feliz (pronounced las feel-iz...incorrect, i know) and silverlake for that emo hipster skinny pant scene. head further east and walk around the lake at echo park. hipsters moving in/gentrification has made it safe now, but there are still some chulos around. get your sharpees.
