One small detail:

That's a *lot* less impressive.

Make it a sustained 45 mph for an hour on a track open to winds of at least 10 mpg and it would be a much more useful contest.




But that's my point. If they can get 12,500+ miles per gallon under IDEAL conditions, how hard can it be to get 125 MPG (LESS THEN 1%!!!!) under realistic conditions? The technology obviously exists.
