Can't speak to him being sexy, but found the actresses quite sexy. HBO's ROME was, IMO, even better tha The Sopranos and Deadwood, and about the equal of The Wire. Lived in Baltimore for more than years, and found The Wire to be quite spot on.

Omg. Funny story. Thread derailment ahead...
I went on a date with a guy who acts in independant films and small productions. Our date was at his movie premiere. He was one of the main characters and plays a gay guy. I figured ok, whatev, I like Will and Grace. It turns out, this movie was more like a cross between Mission Impossible and a gay Skinemax. 10 mins into the movie, is his guy/guy French kiss complete with tongue and ass grabbing. 20 mins later, he's getting banged from behind by another guy, both naked and banging away furiously like totally in extascy, humping and pumping, and they're showing everything to the point where it's almost full-frontal and the banging goes on forever until they end up in a sweaty embrace and on top of each other crying and kissing.
My date asked me if I liked his acting. After the movie, I call it a night and we never called each other again.

How wierd: 2 weeks ago we had a screening for some indie director who made a similar movie, except it didn't have the Mission Impossible angle.
A gay couple meet at a theater group and begin to graphically fsck one another. They take a trip to Ibiza where one of them cheats on the other- then the guy who was cheated on leaves.
The other guy tries out different relationships (more boinking) before realizing the one he truly loves was the guy he cheated on- so he begins to stalk his ex in some of the most pathetic ways; like attempting to suck his dick in public.
There were a lot of incredibly weird moments, but what really got me was how graphic this movie was. It even had things I've never heard of before like something called docking: one dude envelopes the other guys dick with his foreskin, then proceeds to fsck the other guys dick with his dick.
The music was equally insulting: a constant throbbing trance groove with a guy repeating "you and me".
After the screening the Producer goes up to the podium and asks: So what did everyone think? One director (in his 50s) replys "I thought it was absolutely amazing."
