I saw Secretariat last night. Yeah, you know the horse wins the big races, but the story behind the horse is pretty interesting. From a coin flip for who gets what foal, to getting the right jockey and trainer, it was a perfect storm of good fortune that the horse became who he was. That said, he was junk as a stud. Never threw half the quality horse flesh that Seattle Slew did. Makes me wonder if meds made him great.
