Just finished watching this one:

I just found out about the series of Three Investigators movies they've been doing. I used to love those books when I was a kid.

I've been watching the Secret of Terror Castle on Megavideo or the last half hour. It brings back a lot of memories seeing this onscreen.

Mk did you like Blood creek? It looked interesting.

I just finished watching Boondock Saints 2. Definitely not as good as the first, but entertaining. It didn't flow as good as the first one, too quick and choppy, not much in the way of getting to know the new characters. There were some high points, and it sets up another sequel that I hope gets made. Tough to catch lightning in a bottle twice, but it was a decent shoot em up. I hope there is a director's cut w/15-20 minutes of character development and a couple laughs.

In addition, the DVD was very nice quality. The Chinese in Brooklyn must be getting their mitts on screeners to dupe, instead of taking a camcorder into a theater. I hope the quality is as good on Wolf Man and Sherlock Holmes.

in the movie. Benecio Del Toro sleepwalks
through the film, giving a pretty flat and
wooden performance. Great monster stuff though,
with lots of gore--- B+

Enlighten Up, a yoga documentary. I'd really like to see Shutter Island despite the mixed reviews. I'm into high camp.

My Tivo recorded "Big Bad Mama" on TCM over the weekend.

It was a surprising find. I don't remember putting it on my wishlist.

I had a crush on Susan Sennett after I saw this movie in like 1976. I already had a crush on Joan Prather from a movie called "Smile" and was happy to see her topless.

I liked the sisters getting their mom's ex drunk and banging him.

I didn't notice that Sally Kirkland was in this movie when I first saw it. I was quite surprised to see her.

I hated NEW MOON, too. Mind you, I didn't see Twilight first but whatever. Trust me, though. Pattinson is a good actor in REMEMBER ME. I learned that he also was an Executive Producer of it, too, according to the credits.

I've had to play that stupid movie on some display TVs at work and it gets stupider and stupider every time I pay attention to it.

First off way to many half naked teenage boys running around for my (or any other heterosexual/non-Catholic priest male) tastes.

Second off, this chick is a five at best. Why does every vampire and werewolf in North America have the hots for her? God damn it I grew up on Hammer Dracula films where the count only went after the cream of the crop. He wouldn't bother opening up the castle door for this chick.

Third off, so the sight of blood makes the lead cat's brother go berserk and attack the previously mentioned five at best chick. What does the lead do to protect her? He backhands her clear across the room into a desk or some other piece of furniture. Wouldn't this more likely result in her bleeding even more?

Fourth off what the fuck is such a greatly under appreciated actor such as Graham Greene doing in this festering boil of a movie? This movie does not deserve him doing so much as a Hitchcock appearance in a crowd scene.

Last the soundtrack is one of the most whiny, annoying, and depressing things I've ever heard that was not posted by Desi Foxx on some blog somewhere.

I agree. WAAAAAY too much talking in NEW MOON. Mostly about nothing, it turned out. Total crapfest.
