Yesterday, I saw Grizzly Man (about the guy that got eaten by a bear). Good documentary work by Herzog. A bit unfortunate with his interviewing some pathetic women (Jewel Pavolak), who didn't know left from tight anymore (I guess from substance abuse).

Alaska sure is beautiful.

I plan on doing a lot of biking this summer, which means I'm bound to see at least a few black bear. The brown bear near the trail keep themselves well hidden, but black bear will sometimes get caught wandering about. The first time I saw a black bear on the trail, I spooked him and he ran off directly towards what turned out to be a big wedding party. Everyone scattered and ran inside and the bear looted any food he could find and started digging in all the garbage cans for more. It wound up in the newspaper.

The second black bear I saw was a mother with cubs. She was on one side of the trail and of course the cubs were on the other. Meaning I had to sit there for 30 minutes until they wandered off, so that I wouldn't have to bike in-between them. If I see anything cool this summer, I'll try to get some pics to post here. Moose are an everyday sight, sometimes I'll see 5 or 10 of them on a 20 mile ride. And then an occasional red fox and one time a porcupine.

coldfish.had this on my que for a little bit and watched it last night.this is a really dark movie about murder,betrayal,and how fucked up life can really be sometimes(its based on a true story).i dont want to give away too much but a fish shop owner meets another fish shop owner after his daughter is caught stealing stuff at a super market.murder,yakuzas,wives fucking around and constant backstabbing ensue.watch this or people will find out you like lil boys(hyde im looking at you).oh fuck i almost forgot that the main characters wife has the nicest pair of tits.



saw 3d.this started off good with the opening scene but then basically followed the same formula as the previous in the series.but back to the first scene you see how evil women can be when theres more than one guy involved.lots of flashbacks as usual but at least they finally explain how jigsaw got all the info on people and why they were fucking about in their lives.i think ive seen all of these now but only recommend;1,2,6,and i guess this one to wrap it up.its worth a watch if youve seen the previous ones.


excorsimus.pretty standard excorsism movie about a teenager being possessed by the devil.it kind of drags on and shouldve been shorter,but you should watch the first or third excorcist instead.if youve already seen those than go ahead and watch this,seeing as its not bad.

Rerun of Con Air on FX or something.

the gate.well you guessed it;classic 80s fucko.if you havent seen this then watch it.basically two ass buddies open a portal to hell on accident and then 80s monster movie greatness ensues.

communion.great 80s alien movie with christopher walken at his most christopher walken.hadnt seen this since i was a kid and wish i wouldve gotten it on dvd sooner.theres also some a couple unintentionally funny moments thanks to walken just being himself.the ending is good and satisfying and kind of deep.watch this its 10 bucks on amazon.you wont regret buying it.if you dont watch it at night then you like to kiss men.


the family tree(might have a different name on showtime package channels).pretty decent slice of life/coming of age tale about a family that has some pretty funny moments in there too.it also has christina hendricks and her tits in a small role.i really dont understand why she isnt given the main role in movies.show that face and tits off.anyway watch this if you get a chance.

sexting.i cant find a poster with this so i guess it was a smaller movie or came out under another title.it has casper van starship troopers and the black haired girl from the son of hanks movie,orange county.this is actually a pretty good rom com/drama about two people that meet through a bike on car accident and start seeing each other soon after.then they finally realize they should stop seeing other people and be exclusive but some feelings get stepped on in the process.watch it on showtime.

the next three days.pretty riveting thriller that shouldve been on hbo but it wasnt for some reason.basically russel crowe breaks the crazy bitch from the 40 year old virgin out of jail and gets away with it.catch this on netflix.




in and out.only saw about 40 mins of this,but i saw it back in hs.basically kevin kline gets outed by dramas brother and does a great job of being gay.i dont know maybe he really is.not particularly funny but tom selleck looks pretty funny without a moustache.if you know some queens that want to gab about streisand then go ahead and watch this when they come over.but other wise go pick up some in and out and watch some porn instead.

Last movie in theatre: Avengers in IMAX 3D. Was actually quite good, and the 3D was not overwhelming (for once)!

Last movie at home: Friday night, Gunker and I watched Shame. I fell asleep halfway through... am I the only one who thought it was boring as hell??? And Fassbender's schlong didn't do a thing for me... I seriously don't get what the attraction is there...

psych 9.this movie was kind of meh.its one of those movies that seems like they werent done writing it when they started filming the damn thing.these ghost house movies used to always be at least decent but then they started putting out too much or just let other lesser directors and writers have a shot.anyway this girl is in the loonie bin and theres a killer around,then theres plot twists and blah blah.watch something else.



just for kicks.this is a sneaker documentary about sneaker collecting and also its relation to hiphop.i saw this before years ago when it came out and watched it recently on netflix.its pretty solid and interesting as well as informative,not to mention they show lots of nice kicks.i was gonna order this off amazon for 8 bucks but now that i know its on netflix i probably wont.but definitely watch this if you love shoes.



slumber party massacre.great 80s horror movie with lots of t and a (especially during the shower scene).it also looks like they filmed it using an older camera and film to make it look like it was from the seventies.or they mightve just done what they did with the grindhouse movies tarantino and rodriguez put out.regardless you should watch this on netflix.tits.apparenty theres a sequel so im going to be on the lookout for that on there.
