I liked MI:II, it was a good summer popcorn flick.
MI:2 is overlong, bloated, and simply not that good...Face/Off was John Woo's nadir in Hollywood. After that, it's been downhill all the way unfortunately, although sometimes he puts out something vaguely passable (Hard Target, Broken Arrow, Paycheck). 
The only good thing about MI:2 is that the shooting overrun meant that Dougray Scott could not play Wolverine in X-Men, meaning Hugh Jackman got the part instead. The movie gods work in mysterious ways...
I am also a fan of Maggie Q...such a shame no racy pics of her turned up in the infamous Edison Chen laptop scandal. But Maggie Q or not, MI:3 is way better than MI:2. That's not to say it's great, just that it is better than MI:2 by a long fucking way...

Little Darlings!!!! That was the bomb. I was so into that movie when I was a little girl. I love Tatum O'Neil's character. My parents kept asking, "Um, don't you wanna see Star Wars?' They told me later it was because they were worried I would grow up to be a total lesbo.

Wow...I just read about this film last night in 'Making Movies On Your Own' by Kevin J. Lindenmuth. Ronnie Cramer is one of the featured interviewees...I might just have to check this flick out!

Doomsday, i was not happy with it. I thought it might be pretty good but was disappointed severely. Mix Mad Max, Escape from NY and 28 days later together and set it in Scotland but without any soul and this is what you will end up with.

Syriana, finally watched it. Well sort of, I couldn't get more than half way through this flick. Incredibly boring after the first 5 minutes. Bunch of oil jerks in suits making deals and shady agreements. The sentiment behind the movie is admirable but please enclose your propaganda in an entertaining movie.

Brotherhood of the Wolf ( again), new edition came out this week in USA. I like this flick, even looking past the frenchies  , good action, sets, costumes, story and a guy that sort of can pass for an indian playing the indian role.

Nope but I have been wanting to rewatch the first Oh and I also just watched 52 Pickup again, old movie released on dvd. I like it - it is sordid and has Ron Jeremy in it.

speaking of italian horror.... funny note from my disney obsession.
in the 1930’s American horror films were suppressed in Italy by the Mussolini regime, but Snow White despite its very dark elements was allowed through and served to scar and of course inspire the youth of Italia.
So... flash forward to when those children grew up, and Snow Whites run through the forest is replicated in Bava’s Black Sunday (1960) and Dario Argento’s Suspiria (1977).

I have a Demons DVD, but I haven't watched it yet. Someone told me it was allot like The Evil Dead.
Not to derail this thread, but I notice that my attachments don't post as a picture in the thread. I'm not use to this type of board. The others boards I've posted on, always had a way to upload a photo directly from my computer, into the thread. How do you post pictures in threads on this forum? Without using another site such as photobucket.

I'm looking forward to seeing that. I hear the gore in that movie is pretty good. I liked Suspiria but I would have liked it more if the blood didn't look orange.
I have Phenomena and Trauma, but I haven't watched them yet.
