Pluses: props to Black Flag and Minor Threat; using a U.S. map graphic to demonstrate that a network of support existed, and each city (worth its while) had a flag-bearer (e.g. Portland = Poison Idea).

Minuses: 95% of hardcore sucked; no Dead Kennedys (fucking give Jello a mic, and half of your movie is made), no Husker Du, no Minutemen.

Interesting theory/sound bite: Reagan's first term birthed hardcore; Reagan's second term killed it.
