Nowhere man has a private channel for tube sites [low video quality] and there are other private channels as well. The private channels aren't listed in the channel store. Each site gives you a link to add to your Roku then you enter a code at the site to enable. I got more porn than I can fap to.

We've been looking at the Amazon Fire tv gadget. Anyone have any experience with them?

I got mine about a month ago and absolutely love it. If you have Prime it really excels because the voice search for now only relates to Amazon instant and Prime. This box is the most powerful of all similar products so things are really fast and snappy, i have not run into buffering issues like I have on other streaming mediums and you can play some android type games if that appeals to you. I am really happy with my purchase. If you have Prime and order from Amon your Fire TV , it will arrive already loaded with your info so no need to plug in passwords or set up the amazon stuff on the box.

I watched some extended cut of Cocaine Cowboys on Showtime On Demand. Took me about 2 weeks to get through it, watching each night as I fell asleep.

halloween(2012).solid rob zombie remake of the classic horror film.it also has his wife in it whos matured up rather nicely.give it a stream on prime.

watched the beginning of a for hipsters by hipsters movie about sunday funday.the group of friends sunday funday list gets seen by a more severe breed of hipsters so they end up everywhere the lesser hipsters go.this is pretty much what the whole movie must be like.i got bored and sleepy,so i hit the hay.it couldve been funny but pretty much every other joke was the other hipsters being where they were already,including a so hip taco stand that its at a graveyard.pass.

Diary of a Teenage Girl (2015)

Fucking loved this little indie movie. Kristen Wiig, Alexander Skaarsgard, Chris Meloni. 70s San Francisco, teen sex, drugs, no cliché songs or stupid hippie bullshit, and she fucking writes a fan letter to Aileen Kaminsky as part of the story. Fuck, now that I think about it, she kinda looks like a chick from a Crumb comic. Oh, and at one point she licks a poster of Iggy Pop's dick.

The comic that Diary is based on is really good, nice to hear they didn't mess it up when they turned it into a movie.

Seen that doc on Stanley, didn't know about the Milius, will have to check that out.

Spectre

I know it has had a mixed reaction but other than the piss poor title song I liked it a lot. My biggest complaints have to do more with the Bond reboot films in general than Spectre in particular. There are a couple of spokes on the wheel they need to break off.

1. Can we please have just one plot where Bond just gets assigned to take down a mega-maniacal arch-villain like he does in Fleming's books instead of having to do either directly or indirectly deal with a mole in MI6 in every movie?

2. Here are the reoccurring characters and what they need to be doing in a Bond movie.

M-give Bond his orders, give him a name or contact to get the ball rolling then sit behind your desk and drink tea the rest of the film.

Moneypenny-play the role of Bond's secretary/travel agent and unsuccessfully flirt with Bond for thirty seconds in one of the beginning scenes.

Q-show Bond all the fancy gadgets and weapons he is going to use in this movie, be the butt of a couple of Bond one liners then spend the rest of the film experimenting with prototype knickknacks in your bunker/laboratory.

Bond-everything else

Stop trying to turn the supporting characters into Bond's posse. If he needed their help carrying out the actual mission he wouldn't be James Bond. You might as well replace all the Aston-Martins, Lotuses, and BMWs with The Mystery Machine. We are one Great Dane and one Q sex change away from turning this into a British Scooby-Doo series. Zoinks!!

Watched a bootleg stream of Hateful Eight last night and I think there's a good chance that Quentin Tarantino = Tritone. The dude is obsessed with BBC.

The Big Short- pretty good story about the handful of money men who knew the housing bubble was about to burst and bet against the mortgages. Very watchable and fast paced, which is not easy when the topic is banking and finance.
