I think you meant me I hear you on that, they have a very short lifespan, but they're really good with people, especially small kids. We had a black Dane before this one, but she had kidney failure and died when she was two. I've insisted that this is our last one, but Mrs. Vizzle sees things differently.

Yes they are gentle giants, truly and my uncle did the same thing, after each one died, he got another pup, him and his wife never had any other breed since they were together 48 years. I remember him having 5 since Im was young. They used to let us do anything to them, so gentle, beautiful animals.
